Here is my submission to the :icondp-realfans: contest. I decided to do a picture with more of a concept than just Danny laying on the grass watching fireworks. This has meaning. I also didn't make it completely 4th of July themed because 1: I'm still pissed at the government. 2: Not everyone on dA is from the US, so I like to respect everyone when I submit this to a diverse club.

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLACE AROUND PUBLIC ENEMIES!!! So that means he was still considered a bad guy. And... yep.

I'm really proud of the fireworks. I searched forever for a tutorial but found none. So I tried, like, 15 different ways, and I finally got this. :aww:

Aww, look at little Danny. And yes, the drool and teddy bear have a huge significance. There's a lot of detail in this picture, so please pay attention.

I have decided to name his bear Gummy.

Dunno how you did those fireworks, but they are definately sweet! It looks like it took forever to do, all those little lines....


The blue looks good too. An overall great looking picture, my dear.

The bear's ears look weird though.

it isnt a messy feel. i just dont like the thick black line seperating the ears from the head.

I love your idea for the DP emblem firework! :love: I just love how you did Danny sleeping too in those pink pajamas, and with a teddy bear xp He's a drooly face lol! <3 Fantastic work with the fireworks too! I'd never have to patience to do those. Much luck in the contest :aww:
